East of England Development Agency : Regional Business Start-Up Strategy

We were commissioned by EEDA to help prepare the ground for a regional business start-up strategy that would enable EEDA and its partners to demonstrate a more customer-oriented approach to working with pre-starts and start-up businesses.

We undertook a wide ranging programme which included the preparation of a State of the Region report, to give partners a better understanding of entrepreneurial activity and trends in the East of England. Our survey of 600 businesses, segmented by target groups, produced a rich vein of information which enabled us to make clear recommendations on the key priorities for inclusion in the strategy and how they should be delivered.
