Gillingham Education Action Zone
We were appointed by Medway Council to set up and then project manage the Gillingham Education Action Zone in its first year.
This included developing and negotiating a coordinated action plan with 17 schools to improve educational attainment across the area.
The plan provided the framework for five years of increased Government investment in local schools.
Our work also involved engaging a wide range of community interests in working together with schools in a new partnership body to deliver the Zone's plan.
