South East England Development Agency : North Kent Legacy Employment and Skills Projects
This evaluation aimed to establish the extent to which the range of employment and skills projects funded through SEEDA's North Kent Direct Investment Programme had achieved their objectives; also, to assess their impact and determine whether and how their work could not only be sustained in future, but also integrated more closely with mainstream programmes in order to maximise the Strategic Added Value for SEEDA funding.
The evaluation made recommendations on how a successor programme could be implemented. It offered a good strategic fit, both to SEEDA's Corporate Plan priorities and the mainstream funding of the Learning and Skills Council and the Department for Work and Pensions.
