Services - Evaluation
Evaluation of public sector funded programmes serves many purposes, for example, it is essential for assessing their impact, identifying good practice that can be replicated more widely and supporting cases for future funding.
We have particular expertise in utilising the wide range of tools and techniques associated with effective evaluation and have worked with a number of organisations, notably Regional Development Agencies, to help them judge the value for money obtained from the initiatives which they fund.
Our evaluation of the South East Manufacturing Advisory Service for the South East England Development Agency provided an independent review of MAS achievements; the programme's impact on individual businesses and its overall effectiveness.
Our Museums, Libraries and Archives Renaissance Review provided a valuable opportunity to identify many examples of good practice within the sector's range of activities.
Our evaluation of the South East England Development Agency's North Kent Legacy Employment and Skills Projects enabled SEEDA to make an informed judgement on how the successful elements of the seven projects concerned could be funded in future and the appropriate vehicle for taking this forward.
